No tapes. And the CB radio that used to hang right under it is gone also.

Actually, I assumed it was an 8 track, but it doesn't say 8 track on it. It says 1234 stereo and has 4 buttons.

Either way it's history, the bad part is that most all of them hung under the dash. If I had my ruthers I would hang an AC unit under the dash and put the player in my home shop with the rest of my dinosaurs. Nice of you to offer it out there though.

Wow all this talk about 8 tracks reminds me of my buddy Tony. He has a fully restored 72 Gran Torino Sport and that has a fully restored AM 8 track (not am/fm no type o) and he must have about 200 8 tracks. When we get to the swap meets he always has an eye open for them.

8-track was the only way you could hear Outside the Wall transition into In the Flesh, completing the loop on Pink Floyd's The Wall. With a cassette or album you have to flip and start over manually.

I remember listening to Come Sail Away, right in the middle of the chorus it faded out, then Cha-Chunk, then it spun back up. Same with Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Was he looking for some souls to steal? CDB is coming to C'Ville next year as part of the Alabama 50th Anniversary tour. I though all of that was amazing, because I figured most of the band members would be dead by now. They might be by next March.
