Although the Annual Fish Fry Birthday celebration next Friday has been canceled > Last night at the AA meeting, I told them, "Tonight, thirty Years ago I had my last drunk."
Then today I`ve been sorta bragging & "patting myself on the back" for staying separated from alcohol...
Yeah there is a better way to live than staying drunk,

One day at a time, man. "God grant me the Serenity, to accept the things I cannot change; the Courage, to change the things I can; the Wisdom, to know the difference." Keep on, keepin' on!

Yup ! I can testify As Is is for real. Took a while but realizing you can still be a wild man without the hangover the next day works out real good. Feels great being able to remember who made fools of themselves and be sure it wasn't you. Congrats" guys !

Speaking of which, I sat at the local Walley World, and sonofagun if everyone was going easy on the likker! And by that, the couple with the most had one half-rack of Modelo, one half-rack of hard soda water, and a bottle of Cook's Brut. If the end of the world is on its way, everyone's soberly oblivious to it.

Yes liquor sales are down but that is mostly due to the bars being shut down store orders actually increased slightly last week.

Some people go nuts when the drink, getting into fights and stuff. I drink to laugh and escape reality for a while. I applaud those that quit because they admit it gets the best of them. More for us.
