AMPMETER WIRING

    So mo.herbfarm's screenshot of the Ford manual is not working for your setup?
    Anyway, I don't mind taking a few pics this weekend of my '79 but it looks like you don't have a '79...

    I have a 72 and I think even the 74 is different from mine. My problem seems to be rare

    Hillbilly- do you have a picture that shows the wiring. I am about to rewire everything and I still don`t know about the exact positions of the wires on the junction block. If you look closer on the junction block, there is a tiny part, presumably a fuse circuit braker,held by a latch. It is clearly marked with "Battery" and "AUX", so, I assume that I need to connect:
    1. Battery AND power lead from Generator on the "Battery" side of this part
    2. ALL yellow leads on the "AUX" side
    3. The thick starter cable directly from the battery to the starter ( so not in the shunt circle )
    4. One ammeter cable to the "Battery" post, the other one to the "AUX" post.
    I would really love to see, if this layout is matching with yours
