    I've always had an odd fixation with that gen El. Granny had a same vintage Malibu when we were growing up and I guess it's nostalgia. I wonder if those can be had cheap these days... Not that one though.

    I once had a '78 Malibu 2-door, and another time, a '79 Malibu wagon, but even back 25 years ago, the El Caminos around here, basket cases included, were gold-plated, so they were always out of my reach.
