Several months ago there was a discussion about karma. I shared a story about a friends brother who took advantage of a lady in our neighborhood by buying an old mustang (69 or 70 I thought) dirt cheap. He put time and money into only to have it confiscated because it came up as stolen when he tried to register it.
I spoke with my brother about it a few days ago. We recalled most (not all) of the events in a reasonably similar fashion. One of the big differences - he insisted it was a 69 Firebird.
I’m still sure it was a mustang, but have some doubts about other events.
Getting old sucks. I wish I had an iPhone 40 years ago so I could have documented everything!

Sometimes karma, sometimes just a great deal it depends on your conscience. Sounds like karma got him.

I had one of those, black convertible, 396 4 speed, traded a Honda 250 Elsinore for it, my conscience still almost still bothers me to this day.
