    Interesting way to mount some Packard taillights. Hopefully nobody steps on them.

    Yes I had a set of those tail lights and the rear section of the qtr panel a few years ago and sold them for $1100 after I decided on Kaiser tail lamps for my 54.
    I like it!

    I like this. After doing body work for close to 50 years I know what kind of work goes into doing this, coming up with the idea, finding the parts and then actually doing it. When I see these customs I wonder sometimes how much bondo is in them. Had a 33 tudor with a 3 inch chopped top in last spring, had a crack in the back roof panel, thought maybe the weld got ground to thin or flux didn't get cleaned where the top was brazed back together and the acid eating back through. Turned out the top was brazed but the filler was about an inch thick. Owner said to just fill it back up and he took to an auction, it was going to get to be more than he wanted to spend.
