Various cars at Bonneville:
That roadsters with flames looks a flat flat ? Seems like it slow thing down
Also, just wondering where the snack (beer) shack or head is . When nature calls for me out in the woods, I need a tree, but looks like no trees. Haha
Did you see that long jet car run
No Andrew, I didn't see that one run, but it isn't a jet. There were no jet cars at this meet; I think the jets and maybe rockets run in October. You can barely see the cars when they go by, since they're off in the distance and a safe distance from the viewing area. But you sure can hear them. Here's what they looked like when it came by; the Challenger II is the first photo:
Did you try some of the salt on your margarita glass?
Tried the salt, but not with a margarita.
That is like trying the worm without the tequila!
Strictly beer for me, but I remember adding salt to cheap beer to give it more flavor & fizz. Also, adding a raw egg to a beer and watching it slide down the glass as you drank it down. Shudder...
I have put a bag of shelled peanuts in a beer and called it lunch.
Boy my TV dinner ain’t so bad after all , haha. Looks like the “safe” distance is waaay far away. Haha
Say are those street type cars racing too, or is strictly for race only cars
So envious B.B.! Enjoy!
The SCTA has classes for almost any combination of engine, body, etc., but the cars we saw were mainly outfitted for racing only.
