I bought a 1967 Sportster a couple weeks back... I was able to go get it today, I`ll post some pics tomorrow... "Fresh" motor & trans, swap meet bought frame and other goodies, still missing some important parts like chain and levers and kicker and oil lines and such... I got the air operated lift table it sat on in his garage/shop too... Man, I`m high f-a-l-u-t-i-n` now!!! I Just wish my Ranchero would fit on it???
Great Dennis, congrats looking forward to see pics, and a lift also thats cool. Buy one more and the Cheros goes right up there.
Dark BUT>>> I just had to ride tonight, the sunset was georgous so I stayed out longer than anticipated... Here`s the purchase photo... Lift and Bike...
Dennis, find some scrap lumber and form you up a section of the floor a little at a time then get the local concrete guys to dump off their overruns when you are there to smooth it out. Won't take long to get a nice floor to work on that way.
Alwayes nice to see an older one, some shining, a new light in front maybe another handlebar and shes ready to go, if you get longer front end you got to rake it to level it with the ground. The lift looks solid but its to short for my bike Your guy over here played at a festival that I was on too but i was a day late to hear him Good luck with the Harley Dennis
Thanks Giska I have side panels to make the table wider, but nothing to make it longer... I can adapt it IF need be though... We have friends down from North Carolina and I was telling them about you knowing Keith and what a small world it is... I got the front brake lever installed tonight and started on th clutch lever too... AND all th` while thinking about "poor Rusty" out there in th field... Dang, I fergot to call th fella what is working on my other motor!!!
