The old girl has come to a crossroads; address the trans (C-4) problems on a 'one by one and run' basis...or just have the thing rebuilt and write the check. It needs seals on both ends and a modulator as well as a vacuum source for said modulator. And then I still don't know how many miles are on this thing.

I've decided to write the check.

Good for you, Richard! Sometimes ya just gotta go for it. I did that recently with Cochise’s power steering system, and I’m glad I did. Just one less thing to deal with later.
