No surprise. Like so many others, I'm a former resident of California. Still enjoy visiting, but am happier to leave.

I absolutely love Northern California; been there at least 10 times on vacations and to visit friends. If I could afford it, I'd live there; it's beautiful. But how does one go about certifying almost ANY classic car that Leno owns? I wonder if he might move his collection to a more car-friendly state?

Most of his cars are pre 1976 which are still smog exempt (for now) but some tree hugger people are working on that also.
Some People with car collections on CA. have dealer plates for their cars so they never need to smog, tag or register the veh. until it's sold.

Link worked today. I wonder why he chose 1981 for his legislation? That's only 6 years newer that the current limit.
