I have a 79 also with the same two convertors that you do. Mine is a 302 but is set up the same way. Here in Texas, when a vehicle reaches 25 years old it qualifies for Antique/Classic status and is exenpt from emissions testing. I don't know what the rules are in your part of the country but check and see. You may just have to have a safety inspection from now on. Rich
