So I've had this rattle that's been bothering me, and what better time to try to track it down than during the lockdown. It sounded like it was near the top of the package tray, so I spent some time tapping stuff around there and adding some sticky-back weatherstrip. Then a test drive, only to find no difference. Well, after 5 tries & road tests, I finally found it at the top front of the passenger door panel. Apparently the rattle was traveling down the panel trim bracket to the end of the door. I'm pretty sure there will always be rattles in these old cars, unlike my wife's Honda, which is snapped together like Legos.
