The 'Ratfink' model sports fuel injection made by Hilborn. You can tell by the eight 'velocity stacks' on the intake manifold.

    Andy covered for me.
Those things are priced in a way that keeps them rare.

You're welcome! Sorry, but that was the closest I could find of any Ratfink Ranchero.

Woo-hoo, I got that tach Ive been drooling over! This is really gonna make the Big Dash Project even better! Granted, it'll take me awhile to get everything all ready, but it's a project after all. :) Cochise is gonna love it!

When going in a straight line a quarter-mile at a time, you only need to lean your head out the window...like Ratfink does....

Not sure Im gonna translate this right, but.... I talked to my mechanic. He said that when we switched Cochise over from points to electronic, we went with Pertronix. He says that he's fairly sure it'll work the tach without much problem, but he's gonna make some calls tomorrow. I'm still really glad I got the tach for the dash project (whew expensive!). Thanks to you all for your ongoing support and valuable input!

Update on Cochise: yes, yes, I know....when the mechanic tells you "oh yeah, about a hundred bucks and less than an hour", just shake your head and walk away....Cochise needs new p/s hoses, yes. But he also needs a pump and a hydraulic somethingorother. So he'll be chillin' at the auto "spa" for a couple more days.
