Yeah, but I do not 'slurp heads' of any kind. And as for my floats, I have A&W glass mugs, and a ginormous Godfather's pizza glass mug if I feel like a lot of root beer float.

Kiwi.....I do know plants, but I don't know your climate. My first thought is to mix the soil with a bit of sand and plant a little cactus or succulent. They like lots of sun, porous soil and relatively little water compared to other plants.

Cacti, in New Zealand? I wouldn't be surprised.

Cochise update: so, he’s been in the shop getting his power steering rebuild. I went to pick him up the other day, but after driving him up to the barn, decided to take him back for an alignment. Might as well get it all done. Can’t wait to get him back!

    Oy.....okay update.....

....so after I realized that Cochise was all over the road with his tires competing with each other for the right to go in their own direction, I drove him right back to the shop. No problem, the next day he was all aligned again. However, something musta happened between the time I picked him up the first time and the next day after the alignment, because now he didn't even feel like he had any power steering at all. Sure he drives like a dream, but since I am not a power lifter at the Mr. Atlas Competition, I found it a bit....impossible?....to back him into his normal spot at the house. Shoot, I'm used to just being able to steer him with a finger if i wanted to. Soooo....back I went to the shop. Explained everything, the owner and the front man both came out to check. They did have some challenge finding all the stuff for the rebuild, but looks like the pump was bad. So they're gonna replace it. Owner gave me a ride home and thank goodness I have Mazzie to get me around. Tomorrow I was gonna take Cochise to a show but, looks like we might just hafta take Henry by himself. Thats okay though, long as Cochise gets better.

You were absolutely right to go back. A decently-running power steering system, coupled to a good steering set, should be controllable with one finger in a parking situation.

That's what power steering was invented for.
So the fairer sex could enjoy a car or truck too.

Update: Cochise is doing great. The shop guys had a challenge rebuilding his power steering system. But I'm happy to report that after test driving him this afternoon, I gave the green light to the shop and took Cochise home. Since I'm driving down to Pleasanton tomorrow for the Fair, I decided to give him a good bath and get him ready for Saturday morning's Cars N Coffee.

The 67 above is a grandfather/grandson project, I enjoyed talking with them about it.

I don't know if the 67 has a name, next time i see it I'll ask them. Yeah, it was a pretty good turnout this morning, I'm hoping next Saturday will be the same.
