    I have to admit that I enjoy stuff that people make or make better. Simple or complex, I like looking at it and learning. I was at the air museum at the Chino Airport and was doing a walk around on a B-17 bomber and saw this on the nose gun.....

    I thought it was a brilliant, simple solution to a problem that didn't have time for a complex device.
    Lots of other examples we take for granted every day, post up some that you like too.

    That's Awesome!!!! I can see the nose gunner. flight mechanic and parachute rigger huddled around a table in some bar in England figuring this out!! Necessity is the mother of invention, brought to you by the greatest generation.
