http://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/3625213224.html Emailed them to see if the motor and the drivetrain is still in it. If so will be driving out with 400 in hand.
hey just come on down to sunny warm central Arizona, seems like this state's pride is not just one but several pickups per household. rust free too !!
Got in touch with him and the motor and drivetrain are there. Doesn't have a title so I need to go to the DMV for some research. If all goes through clear than I will have it soon.

That Ford Econoline van/truck thing was fairly common back then. You could buy a crew-cab pickup back in those days, but they were just bare-bones work trucks. I guess it was sometime in the 90's that somebody got smart enough to figure out that there was a market for a luxury pickup with 4 doors. That Torino looks like a descent buy if it's not a bondo-bucket.
I often thought of adding a Forum here for Econoline users as well. Another Back Sheep of the Ford Family
I am a member of an econoline forum http://econolines.ipbhost.com/index.php?act=idx It has been invaluable in my 69 E200 restoration project.
There's a guy here in Jackson who owns three or more of the 1960's Econoline pickups. I always like seeing them and wouldn't mind owning one if the price was right.
I love those trucks. I plan on giving a guy a call tomorrow about a 63 Econoline Truck. Been looking for one of those for a while. Most I have seen are total rust buckets though. I hope he still has it and it's in good shape. From the pictures, very few he has it at least appears to be all there.

Here are a couple of Mercurys. Not worth a lot of money but you don't see them every day. 1965 Mercury Marauder 1974 Mercury Comet
