I just forwarded this to the craigslist police dept. Your house will be surrounded momentarily. Oh yeah.......don't stand near the door.
Always interesting stuff in SoCal... http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/3644004516.html http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/3754858664.html http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/3753656529.html

Yeah, that truck has a ton of potential, and at a great price. I dig the Mercury with the flathead Parts posted above. Always have liked the Ranch Wagons, although the mid 60's stacked headlight models are not my favorites...

That's not really all that unusual. I see cars from other areas listed in our local craigslist all the time, and always from someone hoping to get a lot more money for something than it's really worth - which also explains why there is no price listed.
LA is 6 hours from here if traffic is light and you don't run into any CHP's. 8+ hours is more typical.
I sold my ZERO MPG 72 Blazer off CL a few weeks ago. I sold it in So Cal but advertised as far away as Phoenix. I wanted it GONE !! 68 LTD Wagon with hideaway headlights $2,500 http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/3792497633.html
I don't know if this is a REAL 429SCJ and I don't know if the price is fair or not, but if it is real, you don't see them for sale every day. http://jacksontn.craigslist.org/pts/3795122593.html
No Denny, that's a bunch of aftermarket parts. Intake is wrong at the choke heat area, and what's up with that number right below the valve cover - 11 digits looks like ?? DOOE-R on the head only takes 6 spots. No on the double pumper Holley too. Too many expensive hard to find CJ parts aren't there.
That's kinda what I suspected. Real SCJ engines just don't pop up for sale on craigslist very often. Not that they are as rare or as valuable, but I've probably seen more Boss 429 engines at car shows than I have real SCJ's.
Here's a 77 T-bird in Arkansas. You might say that it's been customized slightly. It might give some our 77-79 owners some ideas. http://jonesboro.craigslist.org/cto/3748715618.html
