The numbers you posted are the engineering numbers, stamped on the ducts.

    The actual part numbers are:
    RH: D2OZ-18490-A
    LH: D2OZ-18491-A

Your most likely source would be a junkyard vehicle.

    Application:
    72-76 Ranchero, Torino, Mercury Montego
    74-76 Mercury Cougar

Appreciate that update. I live in Boise and we don't have many junkyards with older cars like that. I will keep looking about. Thanks for helping with the part numbers. Maybe I will get lucky. This has been a project car for me and I have fully restored everything. Had to replace the heater core (again) so I figured I might replace the defrost vents. The plastic at the opening is falling apart

After I get that, I hope to sell it to someone that wants it. Not looking to make money, but just have someone that enjoys Rancheros. . Thanks again for the response. Have a great holiday week and weekend.[IMG]

    Summer Road Trip!

Row52.com shows several potential victims in the PRC (People's Republic of California). Pull everything you can get, sell what you don't need.

Some yards have independent pullers who will pull and ship to you.

There are also yards that pull and ship directly, e.g. Desert Valley in AZ.

    Good luck!

Desert Valley didn't have anything but they did send me an email with about 15 other sites. Trying to get a Row52 login but their site "New User setup" has a glitch so the site is broken. Hopefully Row52 figures it out. I did see some matches on there.

I got new ones but just as I did, I sold my Ranchero to a guy that really wanted one. I am going to help him change them out when he gets time.
