The Green Machine was marketed for 'pretty boys' that needed to look cool. They later grew up to drive BMW's and Mercedes.

really? it wasn't that easy to look cool on them unless you knew how to drive them from what i remember. i bet most of them grew up to ride motocross or drive fords (like me)!! my knuckles got a thrashing from the big wheel - but it was fun too;)

he he they even baned it here the green machine, to dangerous for us, yeah right!
But I think I was a bit old at the time it came over here I dont remember.
But the Tomahawk bike did me some harm to, we where jumping and i went into a tree with my legs on each side and it was very hard for my privats, and the place they put the shifter was no good for the same reason, still remember it and its like 32 33 years ago. But i became a father he he.
And I agree the children are mostley wimps today, to protected and all off them has astma or has problems with dust and smoke. They are sitting whatcing tv and on the computer all the time, throw them out in the sun,the rain and let them play.
I'm a father and a grandfather my doughter is not often sick and hopefully her son will be good to, only 16 months old.:)
