Disc Harrow

    Dennis / Andy, this is really close to the disc Dennis is getting. In the pic it is adjusted straight across to lessen how much it cuts up the ground while moving it to a field. To set it to a more aggressive cut you move one lever then pop the tractor clutch . It will move the cutters to a sharper angle. To go back to the towing position you move the same lever and just back up until everything is straight across. To make it cut deeper you add weight to the rock boxes on the tops of the gangs. Engines, old diesel heads, big rocks, whatever you can find. You will have to experiment to find out how much weight and cutting angle your tractor can deal with. The Ford is probably limited to pulling the disc at a regular walking pace but that depends on your soil too. disc harrow 2.jpg
