This is probably for Carl. I'll soon be posting some spare parts I have for sale on eBay (maybe). I have a set of running lights, fully restored, like new condition, and I went to eBay to see what they are selling for currently. I didn't see any when I searched for 1971 Ford Torino running lights. All that pops up is Chinese LED garbage that would fit anything. Am I missing something? It's been 10 years or so since I sold something there?

FYI: I plan to see if anyone here wants to buy them before posting to eBay.

What's the key search phrase for these? Bullshit, or Used?

    I find that I have to use item_of_interest -bs1 -bs2 -bs3 -bs4 …

There's a lot of BS that gets thrown into the search results. Then eBay decides that you don't have anything in your search terms that is even remotely asking about lawnmower spark plugs, but it's gonna throw that into your results, too.

Craigslist is another one where it's really getting hard to search, because everyone puts terms in their listing just to get more hits. I'll search for 1965 Falcon, and get a zillion listings for the same tire retailer.

Me? I can send pics and you can make offer. How's that. I don't need to make a killing on them.

Don't have a clue as to what might be a fair offer Sean. Really. OK, send the pics to ( aerowarrior1970@gmail.com ) and I'll ask my buds what they think.

For craigslist I put -iphone -credit and that eliminates 90% of the spam ads. I find the minus tag more useful for craigslist than ebay. I can't figure out what happened to Ebay's search algorithm. I search for front fender, and get all kinds of bs and maybe a fender buried on page three.

Yeah, I'll listen to his opinion. Actually I plan on running them by Little Richard's nephew. He has a keen eye on automotive bling and is one of those savant types when he hits the internet.

If they are complete with mounting brackets and nice shape ( I suspect they are since Shaun was going to use them) I would say $100 shipped fro the set would be fair for both.

I also agree. Carl should work at the UN (Underpants Necessary). Thanks Carl.

I'll email pic, HB. There's some surface rust on the brackets caused by being in a box in a shed in Michigan the last 12 years (temp flux).

I'll take $80 and donate $20 in my name to this site, please.
