Yesterday I fired my Harley for the first time this spring, no problems at all, runs as nice as ever. Ready for some miles this summer. Going to change all fluids and filters but nothing else.

May is Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month here in Ga. ~ We`re kicking it off with a Run to the State Capitol, Noon Sunday...Party hearty saturday, to get herded up, Then th run... I`m glad to hear that, it fired right up!!!
New Bike I just got a new one... To work on, that is... A fellow got new pipes and carburater jets fer it and I`ll be th one instaloling these new parts... Vance Hines pipes aughtta sound good on this 07 ~ 600 Honda, Shadow... Th Honda shop wants an arm and a leg, PLUS ~ you gotta buy the pipes from them fer $220 more??? He done got th pipes off`n ebay fer $300+ ...

Got a question. Do any of you remember ever seeing a "Standard" Gold Wing ? I got the itch to strip off all the bags, fairing, intercom, stereo, dead weight, etc. from an 81 model 1100 Interstate. I want to see what kind of day cruiser that hog could be transformed into. I'm wondering what a basic bike would have came with as far as the fenders. I like the seat and bars because they fit me well but the rest of the junk can go. Did they even make a stripped version ?
