I was googling around and found this video to repair small cracks in lights. Has anyone else used this technique? I was going to give it a go on my rear driver light, and if it doesn't work just buy a replacement.

It makes sense, as fractured lens plastic usually ends up distorted, and trying to clamp it can end up crazing the plastic with excess glue. Ask me how I know.

The couple times it's happened, I had busted lights that I couldn't afford to fix, or I couldn't find replacements. Anyway, I would use my model-building skills, to put a lens back together, but in both cases, the plastic gets bent before it breaks, so trying to put it all back together brought less-than-stellar results.

Just to let you know, I have a pair of taillights for sale, and I'm sure that, even with shipping, they'd be less than the $100 price before shipping. If you're interested, PM me.
