    I'd use it in conjunction with some kind of 'kill' device, so that in a collision, the engine stalls, the valve clamps closed.

    With a mechanical pump the valve clamps closed when the engine stops. That is why there is pressure at the carb (if your needle valve doesn't leak) when you take off a fuel line. Same for an electric pump.
    If you mount your gas tank on the roof and use gravity to get gas to the engine, a valve like that should be installed.

    My issue with that is the 1/8 inch fitting size and the fact its not going to stop them from driving away you carb will still be full of fuel. Just run a hidden toggle switch to ground out the {-} Dist side of the coil that way even if they hot wire it it will not start Cheep and easy
