In case a guy was wanting to know how much beer 2 guys could fit in a 1965 Ranchero smuggler's box (like for 4 days at a NASCAR event...), I've done the math.
    You're welcome. :D

Nah, just dry storage until we get to the track, then transfer to coolers as needed.

Got a problem with your math - I don't see 4 days worth of beer there. o_O I'd be thirsty near the end of day 2  And probably grumpy for days 3 and 4

But beer is still good when it's cold - we're not British, here.

Looks to me like a well-thought-out Emergency Preparedness Kit.

Hey, with all that crap in the way HOW do you get the beer out??

And that clear tote won't pass inspection

It's gonna be a process. My stuff is loaded, beer is still in the bed. Drive 40 miles to my buddy's house, unload my stuff, remove smuggler's box cover, load our beer in there, replace cover, load all our stuff, hit the road.
When we get to the track, unload our stuff, remove cover, transfer some beer into coolers, loosely replace lid, set up campsite. We're gonna take turns sleeping in the Ranchero bed while we're there, under a canopy.

Hopefully the exhaust won't cause the compartment to heat up. Maybe better insulate the floor.
