After a long winter son and I managed to make some changes to the Ranchero....
She's pretty salty. Still need to get back to the track to test some changes we made. Winter looms.....

Been a while since I have posted here. Here’s the old shit box with some color and hand lettering by the Kid and his Sister. We did add two aluminum low back seats. Had a very successful dyno session and managed to smoke the transmission after new found power! My son and I rebuilt it in the garage with some help from the web and out 1964 falcon service manual. Added a larger direct drum and more clutch’s. Also a heavy duty transmission cooler. Wyatt is now off to college in the welding trade. Now the car will just sit until summer and we make time to get her to the local strips.
Saving our bucks for that stroker kit. Low compression and a turbo or two or old skool high compression and a solid cam...... decisions decisions..... well dreams anyways. 7C0E9A7B-C881-4CC8-A0BE-72D14CBA2B97.jpeg

I had to look that one up. Didn't connect a 60's dope song, but yeah it was used in the opening.
Looks like a decent kid. Hope for his sake that he steers clear of that crap.

I'm sure he will. He looks happy in a monkey suit (I always did), and it sounds like his dad has done a great job in raising him.
