Murphy USA AuroraThu 7:39 AM 2.06 in Aurora, Mo. Nice. Keep dropping, keep dropping, keep getting closer to St. Louis... Soon it'll cost me less than a twenty to fill Pud.
I copied and pasted that when I saw it because I knew you would play the doubting thomas role, slack. Call the website and ask them about it.
I filled the Saturn up today at $2.93. There was a redneck at the next pump in a POS S-10 filling up can after can in the bed of the truck; at least 100 gallons worth. He must think the price is going back up soon. If'n I was him, I'd be a waitin' a few more days.
Now how do you know that he's not the head lawn-mower for a big golf course or Arlington National Cemetery or something like that? Or maybe he was leaving on a long trip and wants to take some cheaper gas to his cousin Carl in California. You are just so quick to judge folks.
http://www.kcgasprices.com/ Shows a Fisca with gas at $1.79/gallon. I said a long time ago that if gas got back down to $1.79 I would stop complaining. Well, I take it back. I want them under a buck.
I'm not either - I want to be able to fill up the Crown Vic from empty and spend less than $5.00 Rancherobuck$$$. Even get it back to where $1.00 made the needle move "up" some... Gas was $2.12 around here last time I looked...
Regular unleaded was $1.91.9 at the WalMart in Lexington, TN on Saturday. Most nearby towns are still at $2.29 or higher.
I thought we were starting to catch up in the price drop of gasoline here on the mountain with 87 octane down to $2.78, but seeing how much it has dropped everywhere else, we are still far behind. Still it's better than paying $5.00 a gallon like I was over the summer.
A quick check around while getting some lunch - Regular was on average $1.99, Midgrade $2.09, and Premium was $2.19, varation was about .07 per gallon except at the Shell and BP stations which were running about .12 higher... Anyone think the prices are where they are due to anything coming up in the near term like an election?
