Heh....I'm gonna go top off my tank on the way to work in the morning. Better to pay $3.45 a gallon now than to wait until I really need it at the end of this month and pay four bucks. They know summer is coming. They know people wanna drive. Bastards.
No ill intent Cindy. There are a lot of valid reasons why fuel is more expensive in the summer, and right now oil prices are running up due to the improved economy increasing demand. When you adjust for inflation, gas is still cheaper than average over time.
Up here $4.49 for regular is considered a deal. The gas tax is up for repeal next election, get out there and vote!
The closest station to me has 91 octane for $3.99. The second closest (200 yards away from the first) is $4.99.
Going up here again...just paid $3.09 for diesel....and that was the cheapest in my area (according to gasbuddy app)
Hereabouts: 87 Octane $2.599 89 Octane $2.859 93 Octane $3.119 Been fairly consistent near the above amounts for a bit despite two hurricane near misses to the area...
Good old NZ prices are around the $2.40 mark , some in the South Island are $2.60 , and that’s for a litre. Takes a fair few of them to fill a 66 Ranchero tank! Denis.
Yeah , our PM dresses well ! The Govt is now talking about taking the fuel companies to task and making them publish what their markups are . The last two increases were extra taxes -- go figure. Denis.
