70 to 90 cents to have them pump it? Wow! NJ is by law a "you can't pump your own" state and even with state tax somewhere around 43 cents, it's still around $2.79 for 87 octane. Although some stations charge an extra dime a gallon for other than cash. And I thought we had the second crookedest politicians in the country (Hey, it's not political if I don't mention party). I don't care to have someone else do it, but at least it provides entry-level jobs. And since we are densely populated, the pump jockeys don't stand around much at most stations.
