For the first time since I originally took possession of Babe as a free, non-running car, I have been able, both physically and financially, to fill Babe's tank, @ $2.849/gallon. Exactly sixty dollars to top the tank, 21 gallons+!

 

$120 to fill the S10
$230 to fill the F250

 

Yup, my friend Joe's '95 F250 5.8L had to go on a 1-tank diet for a while. I remember back in the Great Recession of '08, Eddie, my '89 Bronco, had a 32-gallon tank and a 10 MPG rating, and at the height, when gas was $4.60/gallon, I had to have Dad's help in gassing up for the week. That lasted for two weeks....

I'm up in WA, and Costco gas in Lake Stevens is $4/gal. Everyone else is $4.08 and up.

 

I paid $3.69 in Grants Pass the other day. Prices are moving in the wrong direction.

 

Paid 3.09.9 in new Hampshire,Irving gas station,mr gas next door was289.9,but not sure where they’re getting their gas from

 

3.14 a gallon here in north Georgia reg. unleaded

The frocking prices are yoyoing out here, which is making 'zone pricing' look crazier than ever.
