The CA attorney general (D) just filed a lawsuit against oil companies for "The Weather" so the high gas prices in CA are here to stay. (lawyers and fines are not cheap) in the end it's the CA.consumers that will pay for it. THANKS ! Current gas-diesel prices in CA. about $6.00 to $7.69 If you want to wait in line for 30 minutes OR MORE at costco you can find 87 octane for about $5.00 - $5.50
No, the oil companies will not miss the opportunity to set an example not to mess with them, by making EVERYONE pay. And while that mills through the courts, gas prices have dropped again here in New Braunfels. I sold someone a new starter motor for $40 (it was damaged), and at $2.849/gal., I was able to put over 13 gallons into Babe's hungry tank.
I just saw the QT that's just a mile or less from the I-35 Buc-ees is at $2.759, so the Buc-ees is usually 2-3ยข cheaper.
$2.85 today, Governor put the .06 tax back on the gas last Wednesday I paid $2.99 Friday to fill up the Lincoln, figuring it would go up more... Everything otherwise, is FULL before tax added back on, Dennis
