Gas Prices

3.46 here in southern Nevada.

 

I just saw $2.249 this afternoon, after a rollercoaster of pricing over the last three months.

 

I like to remind myself...or is it torture???

Hooray ... it's below $4 per gallon at ARCO.

 

$2.289 at the local QT, and two cents less at Buc-ees down the road.

Overnight we jumped 35 cents to $3.39 in northern Utah. Gas prices should start shrinking soon so everybody will start planning road trips for Memorial weekend, then the price will get jacked up when it's too late to cancel. But we will show those oil companies, we will convert our old cars to electric.

 

Yeah, I wish I had the $14+ G's to give Babe an electric drivetrain, just for grins and giggles. But that kind of stuff's for peeps with more money than common sense.

 

I saw that thing at Andrew's - pretty sure it's not worth it.

 

Admittedly, Babe's body needs a lot of rust remediation. But she's never been crashed (unlike my '74 Squire), so the frame is solid. The body was supposed to be how I learned to weld and repair bodies, but that never happened over twenty years.
