Hey, I'm trying to find a good fitting car cover for my '65 Ranchero. Anyone have good success and get one that fits well?

In my limited experience with covers I will never use one again.

It caused very light scratches in my brand new paint job on my 70 RS Camaro and kept all the moisture and humidity in when parked outside rapidly rusting areas that weren't rusty before.

Take it for what it's worth. Free advice.

I could not park inside at the time, unfortunately.

I've used California Car Cover for many years. Great folk. Guaranteed to last years and they stick to that guarantee with no issues.

Concerning car covers, I've always had problems with rain and or snow collapsing the cover into the Ranchero bed. So I've made a frame of PVC pipe with a fly screen overwrap.

The center goop is plastic pipe glue which works well to bond the overlapping fly screen. Fly screen is then screwed and glued to the PVC frame.

All is lightweight and easily moved.

Yep, they will collapse in the bed with rain and snow...I used 2 plastic 55 gallon barrels and it did the trick. tdjim PM me and you can have my cover if you pay the shipping costs...

...Not to overstate the obvious , but you would first decide if you want a hard cover or a soft one. Many of the "soft covers" require snaps to be installed on the exterior . There are several sites to search with many different types and sizes...Google !
