I designed & built a guitar last year called the 'Shark'. I painted the body Fender 'Sonic Blue' and used a neck from a Telecaster. After a while the blue started looking too baby blue to me, so I repainted it Wimbledon White. Then I decided the Tele neck wasn't really appropriate, so I bought a paddle neck and custom-shaped the headstock, which I think mirrors the shape of the pickguard pretty well. THEN I didn't care for the hump on the top edge of the body where the fin starts, so I got out the rasps and DA and carved the arc to match the pickguard. I think the next body color is gonna be a light-ish gray, kinda shark color...

Jeez, what a taskmaster! Here you go, primed white & brewski; also kegging a Saison today and have a German wheat beer in the fermenter.

Mocked it up after spraying the body gray. I think this color makes sense based on the guitar's name, and I haven't seen too many gray guitars. Still need to add clear coats and polish it. But homebrew is included!

Finally got the rebuild done, with one more change. I sprayed a few more coats of amber clear on the neck to darken it some more; I thought the tint looked a little weak.
And TD, about the shark tooth pick; I think a real one or a fossilized one might be pretty tough on strings, but maybe a 3D plastic or nylon one might be a fun project.... does anyone have a 3D printer and scanner??
