Headers

    Okay guys... There is a set of headers at the local yard... not sure of the maker they are big tubes... they fit a 1978 Ford 400M F150 and we can pick them up for 75 bucks if any of you are interested let me know Klaus said he would go pull them

    I wonder how much cutting and bending one would have to do to get them to fit a '78 'Chero?

    Well they are in a 78 F150 4x4 so I'm sure it would take some tweaking to get them to fit... and Klaus thinks they are 2 1/2 inch pipes he didn't measure them... But note these headers drop way down.... so there would be alot of pipe to alter.

    That's what I was afraid of. It's probably be just as easy to call up Summit and get a set of flanges, at the very least I wouldn't be tempted to cut up a good set.
