That's nothing. Haul a truck (in this case, van) drivetrain in the back, sitting on a tire, with the trans fluid sloshing out the dipstick tube hole because the dipstick owner pulled the tube for no legitemate reason.....

And I have that beat...I once hauled a Ford truck 400 and cherry picker in my '83 Colony Park. I don't think I ever hauled anything heavy in the '74 Squire.

Reminds me of the guy doing roof work on his house. For safety, he had a rope tied around his waist. Trouble is he anchored the other end of the rope, over the roof line, and tied to the car bumper. That's about the time his wife drove off to the grocery store.

"Physics Simple?" I had my wife in the back holding the ladder for me. She used the 6' ladder to get in the back of my ranchero....lol.

I treated SO many accident victims from ladder falls...you can't be careful enough and why they plaster so many warning labels on them! I remember having to go up a 3 story ladder once...it took several "tries" before I made it all the way up...

Never mind my excess weight and foot neuropathy, I hate ladders. The worst one was climbing a vertical one on the Starboard side of USS Constellation's island, to get into CIWS Mount 23. Only some forty feet, IIRC, but the stop at the bottom was still very scary. And Oatie Oates stepped on my right hand...I just about kicked his @$$ over that....

As a Weather Equipment repairman in the Air Force, I , being the low man on the rank flagpole, had to haul a magnatron tube on my shoulder 75' up a ladder at a radar installation.
Uphill, both ways, in the snow......OK, I made that part up; the rest is true.
