This is the second time I have had to replace the heater core. They aren't easy to get to on the 72. The first time a mechanic was working on putting in new headers and to get room, he pulled the hoses that go to the core and tied them temporarily to the side and that bent the copper hose and caused a leak and radiator fluid was everywhere inside the car. I got a new one and replaced it. Now the new one is leaking. Suggestions on where to get a good one? Side note, since the dash is torn apart, would love to source some new vent defroster ducts that have rotted plastic - Parts are Left: D4OH 18491-AA and Right: D2OA 18490-AD

Thank you sir. I went ahead and bought that one. At least now I know how to replace it. It's a pain though. I don't drive it a ton. It is fully restored but I only drive it on the weekend occasionally. It was a project car that I finished and now probably should sell. Hopefully this heater core last longer. I am going to flush the radiator fluid and see if that helps long term.
Thanks again. Have a great holiday week and weekend.
