Is the wire black with blue stripe? What colors are on the wire?

Ford assembled those with a sticky ribbon caulk which can make it difficult to separate the lower from the upper section. You might try gently prying and working the lower section to loosen it from the upper section. Do feel around on the blind side of the case for a sheet metal screw. On four of mine it was there.

Thank you very much. In the VENT position, only the blower is in operation?

I only felt and saw rivets on this page.

On most of mine, in VENT I could push the temperature lever to the right and I would get heat through the panel. I mostly used that setting when driving in cool temperatures, and then adjusted the temperature to allow just outside fresh air or add a little warmth depending on desired cabin temperature.

    Let's try this:
Es gibt ein Abdichten zwischen den Bläser-Hälften. Es kann hart geworden sein und handelt als ein Leim, der Sie davon abhält, die niedrigere Abteilung zu entfernen.

(Translation: There is a flexible caulk between the blower halves. It may have hardened and is acting as a glue preventing you from removing the lower section.)

I also had the feeling that it sticks to the firewall.

I once measured the current consumption of the motor at + and -.
    Low = 5.8A
    Medium 1 = 11.3A
    Medium 2 = 23.5A
Max = backup is coming. (>30A)

The wiring of the ventilation fits with the circuit diagrams.
But look, the A / C-Clutch is wrong wired. Somebody changed something here but see for yourself ...
There is also a fuse of 30A for the A / C-Clutch installed!

How can I rewire it properly?

The black/blue stripe wire and the socket pictured above are the interior courtesy light, it illuminates the floor area under the dash on that side of the car. Usually you have one of each on each side of the car.

Ah ok. I'll fix the lights. What lamps are installed and where can I get the mounts? And when the lights on?

The courtesy lamps turn on when you open the door or twist the headamp knob to the 'dome on' setting.

If you are able to read wiring diagrams, I have a set from '74 that should be the same, or you can access the thread on this forum that gives year-by-year diagram sets.

Thank you very much. Now I only need the holder for the passenger side. Do you have a part number?
