    Hi
    I'm from Brittany (near france), not Britain, and i bought a Ranchero 1972 two years ago in Florida (by a mandated agent), but i think it was in first in Grand Junction Colorado.
    Maybe some of you know this car ?
    After many adventures, i receive it in june 2017 and after other many adventures, i've a good pleasure to use it.

    English is not my native language, so i beg you for tolerance :)

    Some pictures of the Ranchero

    Thanks you, guys.
    I'm a Ford addict for long time, but it's my first american Ford. I had many european Ford and i've again a Granada Coupé (european, not american) which it's look like a little Torino (or not). The sames in Australia are with a V8 (but wrong side of drive wheel ;)). Mine is with a V6 (153 Ci).
    I've also a Buell X1 Red Racing Stripes, and... that's all :).

    Welcome to the forum, nice bike and I really like the Granada I have never seen the European version it probably would have sold better over here than the square boxes we were offered.

    Welcome aboard. I'm partial to the earlier 'cheros, but your '72 is very sharp!

    I really like your Granada. It's always interesting to see what styles of vehicles are offered in other markets. Last time I visited in Mexico, I saw a lot of cool trucks that I wish were made available in the US market.

    Thanks everybody, i'm very glad to bee here to chat about Ranchero, which is not too knowed around me. A lot of people who see it think is a El Camino and they say when i corrige them "oh ! look like a El Camino", and no, El Camino look like a Ranchero because it was earlier than it, is my answer :)

    @Carl Steinbarger You're right, i didn't know this Ford.

    Funny story. I took a friend to a store in my Ranchero late last year, and as I waited in it while my friend was inside the store, a father and his two sons walk by, the dad says something to the younger boy, and then the older boy says, very loudly, "No it's not! See, it says 'Ranchero' on the fender!" My guess is the younger boy asked dad what my car was, and the dad said "El Camino."

    Welcome to the board!!! Having spent more than a little time in France you must have to map out your routes carefully because that car takes up BOTH lanes of the streets I remember.

    Cheers,

    Doc
