Upon looking into why my front running lights and all blinkers wont work, I belive I found that the flasher unit is missing on the back of the instrument panel area. I do have two wires that are not connected to anything back there, org/yel, blu. And according to the diagram this should be them. Just want to make sure I get the correct thing. Since I dont have anything to go by, is this just a standard blinker flasher unit that I can buy at Autozone for $10 bucks? Also, where is this supposed to go? Fasten to I mean. I see that there is a blank area on the left side of the panel, but the wires wouldnt be long enough to allow proper placement of the flasher there. Still the mystery is front running lights. Rear are working, but not front. Need further investigating on those. Thanks, Jerry

@ mcklinjw ... what year is your car? It is likely that any flasher unit will work, but it should fit into a socket, with 2 tabs at right angles. They don't have to mount in anything, some just hang in air, some fit into a clip on the steering column. If by running lights you mean what I call 'parking' lights, those have nothing to do with the turn signals, have their own separate circuit. If they aren't working [with good bulbs installed!] the the most likely candidate is the light switch itself. Check to see that you have a good ground also.
