Great color! Are there many 'cheros on your side of the Atlantic? As uncommon as they are here, I would think that you have somewhat of a rarity in the UK.

color is not original was originally maroon i think, don't know its shade just the code . i went into the paint shop looked at the options and said that one . ranchero's are very rare over here as ford dealer's never offered them. i have only seen one other 72 plus two for sale seen other years but just as rare often people say what is it or is it a el ########

Spent a few weeks in June in France and UK and never saw any US vehicles at all so seeing a Ranchero would really be a rare sight..

I spent a week in SoKo and saw five vehicles that weren't a Kia or Hyundai; Ford F150, Mustang GT, Chrysler 300 (Hemi), Porsche 911, and a Corvette. Other than the 300, my dream list of vehicles.

Not to mention the UK gallon is .83 the size of a US gallon, so that certainly keeps the hogs off the road a bit!!
