Barely enough to cool a hobbit's toes... a lot for around here though. I see Tripper is hiding from it.
Some of it has melted. Yesterday, no grass showing and Tripp was covered from the wind. 1000 accidents across the effected area.
1 1/2". That 1/2" (*edit- of snow) makes all the difference. *Need to watch what I type so it don't endup on someones sig.
The best part is, in a few months these guys will be complaining about the heat. When I first moved here, March 2007, I was told, "You have not felt heat, like you'll feel here in the summer. The humidity is a killer!" Like ya'all have the monopoly on heat. I guess it's them trying to make themselves feel better about being snow pansies. Here is my take on Southern weather (I don't think Virginy is that Southern, btw). Winters I consider mild, at the worst. Spring starts early, and lasts longer. Summer is warm, hot and humid, just like Michigan (but it lasts longer). Fall starts later and lasts longer.
well, its Feb. and we still havent seen above freezing temps in weeks. they say we might see 32 or above this week. yay!!!
My Mom sent me this picture. She said that spring is just around the corner because the deer are visible again.
We had a 7" snowfall out of nowhere Tuesday and it was gone by yesterday. That's my kinda snowfall. Get it in, get it out. No sweet talk, no cuddling afterwards.
I like other things like that too. Pizza for example. Just order it and eat it. No cleaning and no cooking!
I haven't had a Whopper w/cheese since before I got married. I used to get one on the way home from the bar Friday nights at 2am. With large fries and a Coke. Mmmmmmm, I could go for that right now.
No, but it probably is 2am tomorrow in Australia though. Hey, if it's tomorrow there, could some 'bloke' go online and get me tonights Virginia lotto numbers? Shoot, how come nobody has thought of that before?
I tried that with my buddy Russell in our Energizer Australia office. He said it used to work but they wised up and now they black it out.
