Nice 51 F Colorado Saturday. Clear and full sun. Ideal for a Ranchero run.

Ran my '75 GT for a 5 mile run down the nearby interstate. How sweet with the window down to open the throttle on that 460 and hear it purr at 75-80 mph.

Some guy in a RAM pickup even gave me a thumbs up.

And to think, some folk want a new Hyundoodle - at least that's what the TV add tells me.

Nice! Took mine out today for a run to the homebrew supply store. Similar temp, but light rain. No matter, window down, arm out, tunes on and 289 burbling along.

Gotta have the window down: rain/shine, night/day, cold/hot, whatever. Only time most drivers have their window down is at a fast food drive thru.

Gotta admit I don’t usually have the window down in my Mazda but it has to be pretty bad before I leave the window up in the Ranchero ! Mowed the lawn then loaded my green waste fade onto the Ute and cruised down to dump it yesterday. Came home via the beach , lots of visitors about for Rythm and Vines .
Happy new year to you all !
    Denis.

I don't even go outside if it's that cold :D
My last dog was a Siberian Husky that hated cold weather and rain.
I had to drag or carry that beast outside when it was cold or wet.
Fortunately it does not get that cold here very often.

Been nearly a month since I got a run in with my '75 GT. Still messing with the A/C and too danged hot to go for a drive.

This afternoon was only 88 F and overcast so hit the nearby I-76 for a 10 mile round trip. Usually I keep it down to 80 mph but some idiot wanted in the way. So opened up that 400 hp 460 and blew by at an easy 95 mph.

    Again, how sweet!

Another run today. Mostly 80 mph on the nearby interstate but some idiot was limping along in the left lane. Had (note had) to open up that 460 and blow him away. This makes fighting the A/C and all other Ranchero frustrations more than worth it.
