Yes, was back to the small rural Nebraska home town for most of the weekend. Looked over the wall listing of vets buried in the Edgar, NE cemetery. Far more than I remembered. Then today, it being Memorial Day, I made the hour drive down to the Fort Logan National Cemetery. I went late to be sure the crowds were gone. I go to set on the sidewalk for a time beside the wife's columbarium niche. I know she's not there, only ashes but I feel close to her anyway. I just lost her to the cancer last January so am still new at this. I often find others there doing the same. For those who know, the grief never ends for those we loved so deeply.
My wife passed on Feb 4 2025 also Clark and you are right on to the visits where thier ashes are at..........One Day AT A Time.........
