Hey guys so not to long ago finished installing a gz motorsports crankcase vacuum pump system on the 410 cleveland stroker. Ever since I had this motor built up in 2009, it always had some blow by due to the large ring gaps. Been planning to do this for quite some time, and I really don’t think the header evac system that was on there prior was doing much of anything. Love the way it mounted up, and if anyone is ever in the market for one of these give them a look as the quality and customer service is top notch.
they say you learn something everyday. i did not know there was such a thing as a crankcase vacuum pump till i read this. i wish i knew about the 410 stroker kit before i rebuilt my Cleveland
Yeah pricy system, but think it will do my setup very well. Forgot how big you could stroke a cleveland, but think you could go pretty big.
I thought about a 427 Cleveland, but you're talking beyond Rancherobuxx that I just don't have. And don't forget, cubes are based on both bore and stroke.
Yup they are not cheap to build, that is why I plan to keep this thing healthy as long as I could. May yank it next summer depending on funds to get a freshen up.
yes, seller's price plus ride across Atlantic plus 20% government bribe = about twice the original price. don't think i will be retiring anytime soon
