I finally finished it this past June. The tranny has been giving me grief all year and I have not got a full power pass in all season. My best so far is 12.9 at 111.3 mph without low gear. Under the hood is 472 cu in, ported aluminum CJ heads, 12.5:1 compression,Victor jr intake with 1000 cfm HP series Holley, custom grind Comp Cams solid roller cam shaft, full manual C6 ,4000 stall converter,4" aluminum driveshaft turning a 4:11, 31 spline Detroit locker and Moser axles. Traction via Cal-Tracs and 28x11 M/T ET Streets. Environmentally friendly running on 94 octane premium ethanol pump gas.
Ken, are those Hooker Super Comp ceramic coated headers? That's what I have. Yours look great. How much room do you have between your waterpump pulley and your radiator? It's going to be close between my electric fans and the pulley. And can I have your exhaust system?
That is some monsterous power you have there. NICE NICE....please tell me the snorkel was created by you and not taken from another maker. Have you raced it and if so what are the times it made? Finally to put a face with the name.. the little one is precious for sure.
I think I noticed a modern master cylinder too. I like the way the roll bar goes thru the rear window. monster motor, looking good. I just picked up a aluminum radiator at Summit Racing. I'll probably go with a electric fan too.
I have dual electric fans as I needed the clearance for my Mazier electric water pump. I installed Hooker 6115's and had the ceramic coating done in town. The exhaust consists of a 3.5" H pipe, through 3.5" Hooker Aerochamber mufflers, reducing down to 3" over the axle and dumping behind the bumper.The whole exhaust is ceramic coated. The little guy with me is my Grandson. He helped me build the car.
The master cylinder is from an '88 Ford Ranger. It was necessary to clear the tall valve covers.The rear window is lexan. I designed the hood scoop, had it formed in town and Body by Dave grafted to the GT hood. I call it " GT hood on steroids"! Even with the scoop I had to run a drop base air cleaner and it clears by about 1/2".
Great to know it wasn't a mopar based snorkel.... very nice Ken and what's the grandson's name...he is so precious. I bet he's number one on the list of who inherits that ride

My Grandson's name is Alex. My track time is in the first post but the best yet is 12.9 seconds at 111.3 mph here in Calgary at 3250 ft elevation. I haven't had low gear yet all summer and my tranny builder is still dicking me around. With all the gears I will be running in the 11.5 second range , close to 120 mph.
