all i needed to do was yes flip, cut a 1/2 of each side of the opening for transmount , and install a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 steel tubing go from 1 in long trans mount bolts to 2 1/2 keep exact pinion angle
I have some closer pics, to much to do and less time to do it all in.

Looks like a great solution. Any ground clearance concerns?

Between you me and the fence post I am VERY interested in the fact that a 77 dual exhaust fit in Le Roy.

    Cheers,

    Doc

I would have ripped out the cross member first time down the driveway

Not surprising the frames and under-body are pretty much the same from 72 to 79

I have heard that rumor but have never been able to confirm it. I can find an exhaust kit for a 73 but not a 77. I think the whole emissions thing started in 74. I would rather find a kit for a different year that fits (confirmed) instead of a "builder kit" as it will be my first shot at Tig welding an exhaust (or anything else for that matter)

    Cheers,

    Doc
