I took my '65 for a local road trip today, just to get out of the house. Went up to some old logging roads that have since been paved west of Portland. Here's a nice view looking back at Portland; the Columbia River is on the far left, and the Willamette River to the right. The land mass in between is Sauvie Island, an area of fertile farmland with lots of farm markets.

Perfect day for an old school drive- windows down, arm out, stereo crankin’ out the classics.

Niiice! I'm flying to Washington for two weeks' visit with family, take care of some leftover business I didn't get to before COVID shut us down. I miss Washington (especially Western WA), but I'm in Texas, likely, for the rest of my life.
