83 ain't a bad run, but still too short.
That's the bad part of being our age, the focus shifts from arrivals to departures.
Keep part of him close by and that piece will live on,

Sorry to hear about your friend. He raced NASCAR , he was a legend .won his first race in 1960 ,

 

What's with this November anyway? I just lost a great friend, mentor, and professor -- Tad Addy, age 82. I can still remember changing out the ball joints in my 1965 Comet Caliente -- in his garage -- while his grad student!
