    Nemo has seen too much of the east coast of Florida , RUSTED on the main body structure =tailgate is solid as are doors -small amounts of rust normal on these

    built in 1977 why are the fenders -doors tailgate very little spots of rust ,????? unless it was in a flood in 1976 before they built-it

    It's a matter of how long the moisture stays on the metal, so I'm guessing the carpeting was always soaked and the bed always full of water...which brings me to the question, where's the rear bulkhead?

    That looks like good ol midwest rust. And here that car would have looked like that after about 8-10 years not 40! your salt comes from the ocean but we like to spread ours on the street everytime they even "think" it's going to snow.

    My truck lasted 3 years before rust started being seen. By 13 years old it was a goner.
